ABOUT ME
I used to believe mermaids lived in the lake in my neighborhood and that fairies inhabited the trees towering above it. Maybe it was all the Dungeons and Dragons or reading Terry Pratchett with my family. Eventually, I wasn’t satisfied with just finding it. I always wanted to make the magic. When I stepped onto stage in 2nd grade I realized the stories existed past the page.
Now many years later I am an actor in New York; soaking up all of the creativity that flows through the city. I have been a part of NYU Tisch school of the arts which has given me the privilege of training at the Atlantic Acting School and at the Experimental Theater Wing. Every day that I step out of my apartment is a day to learn more from the city, from my peers, and from the little girl inside me that insists that the mermaids have somehow ended up in the Hudson river.
That little girl pushes me to tell the stories she read and the stories she wished she could have. Stories about good witches who are trying their best and superheroes with far too many gadgets. Stories about hope, love, and belief. I want to give the next little girl a reason to believe in the magic too.
